Halsin stirred not long after she left the room, sniffing at the air when he caught the faint trace of her scent. It was newer than the scent of her on his sheets which meant she was up already and so he rose with a groan until he realized there was a new piece of jewelry on his wrist. Studying the bracelet, he smiled with warm before pulling on a pair of green pants and going in search of her.
So he would wander shirtless into the kitchen, searching for her and brightening with he spied her making breakfast. Striding over, he didn't hesitate to slide his arms around her waist as he hugged her from behind, pressing a kiss to her shoulder. "Thank you for my present, my heart. It's as beautiful as you are."
Night Sky was far from a chef, but bacon and eggs with fresh chives was easy enough for her to do without royally screwing it up. A few pieces of toast with honey and, bam! A full, delicious breakfast for her beloved.
She giggled and leaned into him, a hand lifted to cup his cheek and hold him still long enough for her to lay a kiss to the opposite side of his face. "I'm glad you like it, sweetness. I don't know if there's anything like it where you're from, but it's the season for gift giving back home and... a lot of other worlds, apparently."
