He chuckled as he slid a hand through her hair, trailing his fingers down until he was stroking her back, his eyes closed with a content smile. "You make it easy, my heart. Everything pales in comparison to you."
Despite hearing it repeatedly from him, Night Sky was still shocked every time he said something like that. Like she was the most precious thing in the world to him. "We're supposed to be fishing aren't we?" She laughed.
"Were we?" He laughed as he glanced around before smiling at her fondly. "Honestly, I don't remember as you've managed to make me forget everything but you."
"Techically, yes." She said, words punctuated with a giggle. "But I'm perfectly fine laying naked in the middle of the woods with you, too. That's a perfect date to me."
